Prepare for the Microsoft Network Antivirus

Microsoft has come up the with a free antivirus application latest beta version of Security Essentials. Although still in beta, the application now that Microsoft provides a new protection network-based attacks.

Microsoft Security Essentials ( MSE ) is now integrated with the Internet Explorer in order to better protect users from web-based threats. This is believed to make the system capable of preventing malicious scripts that want to operate.

As quoted from Ars Technica, July 23, 2010, for users of Windows Vista and Windows 7, this new version of MSE may provide protection against exploits by examining network traffic and blocking suspicious connections.

According to Microsoft, users who can test these applications is only those living in the United States, Israel, Brazil and China, although the user from the UK also reported to successfully download and install it.

Users from other regions are likely to wait for the final version of the simple security applications.
