Second quarter 2010, Intel reach US $ 2.9 billion

Smartphone and tablet computer can be a device that would become the dominant product on the market in some time to come. However, it does not mean your desktop computer becomes obsolete.

As proof, Intel has just announced the initial report their financial perfomance for the second quarter of 2010 ago. The result, from a revenue of 10.8 billion US dollars, they recorded a net profit of 2.9 billion US dollars.

Represented the best record of success gained by Intel during the last 42 years.

Quoted from Tech Report, July, 2010, net revenues will increase by 445 million US dollars compared to the previous quarter. And when compared with the same quarter last year, increasing to reach 3.3 billion US dollars. As is known, in the second quarter 2009, Intel has suffered a loss of 398 million US dollars.

For information, all revenues are derived from sales of notebook processors, server and also the atomic product. Especially for the atom, Intel's revenues from this segment rose 16 percent.
