vSphere 4.1, the new VMware Virtualization solutions

Virtualization solution provider Vmware Inc. announced the latest version of VMware virtualization platform vSphere 4.1.

" Strategically, server virtualization can be a catalyst for the modernization of IT that will change how to build, manage, allocate capacity, an pay for IT resources, " said Thomas Bittman, VP Distinguished Analyst, Gartner research institute in a written explanation, Monday, July 19, 2010.

VMware vSphere 4.1 is currently available in a number of packages and prices according to different customers needs. Prices for small and medium enterprises ( SMEs ) start form US $ 83 per processor. Meanwhile, for enterprise-class with the highest workload, the licence price could reach US $ 3,495 per processor.
